One more reason to open a company in Georgia. Companies registered in Georgia will be able to participate in European tenders

 

The decision was 22.07.2022 by the EU Georgia Association Council and was published in the official Journal of the European Union. 

Any business registered in Georgia will now have the ability to participate in tenders announced by central authorities of the 27 member states of the European Union for purchase of goods, the State Procurement Agency of Georgia announced on Monday.

For any of companies registered in Georgia, the market for purchases of goods by the central authorities of the 27 European Union member countries has been opened without any restrictions. Until now, Georgian companies had a legal adn formal restriction to participate in EU tenders.

This is a great achievement and milestone in EU Georgia economical relations and one more important step towards the compltete realisation of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA) between Georgia and the EU.

The full and daily updted list of public tenders as announced by the 27 Member States on Tenders Electronic Daily (TED).

The decision also means that companies registered in the European Union have from 22.07.2022 full access to public procurement tenders in Georgia with a same condition like Georgian companies. The central Georgian e-Procurement system is open without restriction for EU companies.
